Hi
Welcome to XXXXXXX
The allergy to paracetamol is mostly self resolving but it can be XXXXXXX in case of anaphylaxis which is very uncommon and occurs in only 1% patients. Incase of anaphylaxis it can be fatal.
If symptoms of your wife gets worsening like breathing difficulties or she feels drowsy then do get immediate help from your doctor. Meanwhile you can use antiallergics. An IV shot of An antiallergic and 500mg Hydrocortisone IV is an emergency treatment if required.
If you still have some query, feel free to ask
