Hello
Thanks for writing to us.
From your description, it seems as though the cancer could have spread to his gastrointestinal tract. For your information, other common symptoms your brother might experience with tumor progression are:
-Difficulty breathing
-Difficulty swallowing
-Loss of appetite
-Chest pain (moderate to severe intensity)

Usually patients of stage 4 mesothelioma (final stage) have an average life expectancy of 6-8 months since the diagnosis is made.

May god bless your brother and your family. Be strong, support your mother and feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications.

Best wishes,
Dr. Shoaib Khan
