Hi,
Thanks for posting your query at XXXXXXX forum.

You have mentioned varied medical problems. All the problems you have, may be interlinked to each other.

The picture you have provided strongly suggest lower extremity complication (foot ulcer) in a background of diabetes.

Foot ulcers and infections are major source of morbidity in individuals with diabetes.
The reasons are-
neuropathy (nerve complication), abnormal foot bio-mechanics, Peripheral Arterial Disease, and poor wound healing.

Approximately 15% of individuals with type 2 diabetes develop a foot ulcer (great toe or adjacent areas are most common).

Poor glycemic control , long standing diabetes are the causes.

possible treatment options are-
(1)off-loading - complete avoidance of weight bearing on the ulcer
(2) debridement
(3) wound dressings - hydrocolloid dressings
(4) appropriate use of antibiotics

Culture may be taken from debrided tissue for proper selection of antibiotic.

Proper control of diabetes is mandatory.

Proper clinical examination by an experienced physician is necessary, anyway this lesion seems not to be related to cancer.

Consult your doctor and keep me posted for further follow up.
