thanks doc for your reply. some history, i am currently obese. 1.7 m and weigh 90kg.

5 years ago, i was diagnoised with ocd and put on med (i think floratine a form of srri, sorry i i get the names wrongly.). stop meds fr 3 years.

Bad memory is part of my problems. additionally, i am very mindful of what pp say. it affects me emotionally if someone commented somethg i dun like. i will brood over it fr days and go into a very eoional stage.

as fr depression, i am chronically unhappy but being pyschological aware enable me to manage that with a combination of religion and hobbies.

just tired of these, seeking possible solutions to bad memory, highly reactive to pp comments and

unhappiness. my ocd isstill in existence, just manage to keep it on control. thks!

Hello again,

Thanks for follow up,

OCD is a type of anxiety disorder. Persistent ocd symptoms frequently lead to Depression. Anxiety and depression causes poor concentration which further lead to poor memory.

So, for you it is better to restart treatment for ocd after reassessment by your psychiatrist. SSRI like Fluoxetine one of most effective medicine currently available for ocd.
