Question: I have little tiny pumps on my skin and if I scratch it starts itching like crazy and it spreads.
Could this be the skin reaction from amitreptiline?

hi,
thanks for writing to us.
From the description provided it could be
allergic or irritant dermatitis
scabies
drug induced
I would like to know since how long are you having it
if the lesions started after starting amitryptalline.
if lesions itch more in night
exact sites of the lesions
exact description of the lesions
any history of application of new cream, medicine or exposure to sun, poison ivy or any grass.

answering these queries would help in thinking of a probable cause.
If possible please attach an image of affected lesions too.
Hope that helped.
Note: Hope the answers resolves your concerns, however for further guidance of skin related queries consult our Dermatologist.Click here to book a consultation
