Have got severe headache during bowel movement. Underlying cause?

Twice in the last 2 days i have gotten a severe headache during a bowl movement

One possible condition that causes this sort of symptoms is Exertional head ache.
It is associated with exertion and straining. Since it is associated with bowel movements, it may be due to constipation.
I would advise you to drink plenty of water and diet fiber to your diet to avoid constipation.
In the meantime you may take laxatives.
If the symptoms persist then consult your doctor for evaluation and rule out conditions like hypertension, diabetes, stroke and heart diseases.
