Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Chest pain may be caused by several things as this is the place where heart, lungs and esophagus are in the close neighborhood. So your symptoms may be caused by ischeamic heart disease (or any other heart disease), asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, acid reflux (GERD) or peptic ulcer, gall stones.
When there chest pain appears, first of all heart condition should be checked. When there is an ischeamic heart disease chest pain appears during physical activity and is associated with shortness of breath. To rule it out ECG and ischeamic markers in blood should be checked, and ultrasound of the heart might be necessary.
After ischeamic heart disease will be ruled out, any gastric diseases should be ruled out. Abdomen ultrasound and endoscopy should be performed.
For lungs diseases, chest X-ray and spirometry should be performed. It is very common that acid reflux is associated with asthma.

Only after diagnosis, treatment may be started.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
