Question: My 4 year old has been potty trained for a year with no problems, now she is constantly urinating in her pants - she says she didn't know she was going.
What would cause this?

Hi
Thanks for writing to health care magic .
From your history these are a few possibilities to consider since she had been potty trained before .
1) Infection in the vulval region . Look for redness or itching in the vulval area which could cause frequent urination.
2) Maybe a temporary loss of bladder tone , which could improve later
3) Asymptomatic urine tested
4) If allthese are ruled out and if the problem persists for more than a month, consult your physician .
