I am G Venkat…
Medial issue related my daughter XXXXXXX XXXXXXX 11 years age. Female.
She started complaint burning sensation after urination… after few days we consulted Gynecologist. Doctor prescribed citralka syrup and Triben-b. We used these for few weeks… my daughter got relief from her issue…
After to three weeks same issue again started… then we consulted Gynecologist again… doctor examined and suggested to use same medicine again… we again used… but my daughter didn’t get any relief from same symptoms…
Then lockdown stated and we keep on applying cream and syrup… but no use… finally we consulted one generally physician… he prescribe for urine sensitive test… after report ( 11/05/2020) it is identified as CONCLUSION OF REPORT IS SIGNIFICANT GROWTH OF ENTEROBACTER CLOACAE ISOLATED IN CULTURE…. We are enclosed report also… So physician suggested to use ciprofloxacin for this age is 250 mg twice a day for 7 days. Similarly the dose of nitrofurantoin will be 100 mg twice a day for 7 days. Continue nitrofurantoin 100 mg once a day for another 7 days to prevent recurrence.
After above medication my daughter got complete relief… from issue…. Meanwhile we got USG KUB(kidney, ureter and bladder)… as per doctor advice… we enclosed report .. we also repeated Urine Sensitive test again on 22/05/2020… report also very positive…
We though all fine… but again, started same issue … but this time added symptoms of high fever (103 F), abdomen pain and chills…
But again, same issue started… so again we got test of Urine Microscopy and Urine sensitive on 6/6/2020…reported is enclosed… MICROSCOPY EXAMINATION REPORT AND IT SHOWS RBCS, PUS CELLS, PROTEINS AND NITRITE; URINE CULTURE REPORT SHOWS SIGNIFICANT GROWTH OF ESCHERICHIA COLI ISOLATED IN CULTURE. SUGGESTIVE OF RECURRENCE OF UTI..
Now we are giving CEFUROXIME 250 MG TWICE A DAY AND NITROFURANTOIN 100 MG TWICE A DAY
She is having fever around 102 F, chills, headache, abdomen pain etc., fever coming down with crocin 500 mg… but after 6-7 hours again reoccurring…
So… sir, this is the whole situation… we need your opinion and guidelines… we are uploading all mentioned reports… is this treatment correct ? how tog et relief from the above issue.

After going through recent urine culture report I would suggest you to continue taking Ciprofloxacin 250 mg and Nitrofurantoin twice daily along with urine alkalizer Citralka thrice daily .
At the same time it is utmost important to observe proper personal hygiene of genital area .
Please ensure she cleans her genital area with warm water with soft cotton swab every time after passing urine .
Ensure she drinks adequate water (2-3 liters in 24 hours )so as to keep herself well hydrated and to keep her urine dilute .

1. Are Chills, stomach pain ,high fever (102F to 103F) due to this infection only ? How much time will take to get relief from fever ?
2. Will antibiotic give relief from infection (E Coli )? Is there any other treatment available any where in XXXXXXX for the same. ?
3. KFT or any other test required other than urine test ?
