Had Pale/clay Colored Stool. What Could Be The Cause?

Question: This morning is the first time I had pale/clay colored stools. No real other sympyoms I can think of. Time to worry?

Thanks for your query. Generally clay coloured stools indicate pathology in biliary system that is liver. Cirrhosis hepatitis and symptoms like abdominal pain. If it persists I would suggest liver function tests and ultrasound abdomen to clinch the diagnosis and start appropriate treatment. Do clarify further if required.
