Had Intercourse. Diagnosed With Bacterial Infection. What Is Causing This?

Question: hi i just had sex with my friend last sat and sun today he says he went to the doctor and they told him he has a bacterial infection we had not had sex in 11 months prior and i had a hystorectomy 11 months ago and have not had any infections or any thing is that possible?

Based on the details provided, it's still possible that he got this infection from you.

Vaginal infections may not always cause symptoms, so a person might transmit infection without being aware of it. And hysterectomy doesn't prevent or help in preventing such infections.

Ideally he should get urine analysis and urine culture test done. In fact you can also get a urine analysis done to rule out infection.
If there is evidence of infection then you both might need course of antibiotics.
