hi,
My wife had a delivery on 17th March 2013. She went through Caesarean section.
Our concern was that her period has not yet started. Is it something to be concerned about?
Before pregnancy, her weight was 49 kg. Now her weight is 68 kg.
She breastfeeds her baby.
Please guide us on this concern

Its normal for women to have no periods for a average of 6 months after delivery.
This happens to avoid pregnancies soon after delivery.
The weight gain is normal and essential to maintain the lactation health.
