Question: Good morning. At first I thought it was a uti, but the cipro is not helping. My urine is just pouring out of me. Once I get up to go, it starts and I cannot stop it. I am wearing two Poise night pads. I never had children. I find it difficult to talk with my doc. Please help.

Brief Answer:
Urinary track infection and cystitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear XXXXXXX welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

I think you are not having just urinary track infection but cystitis too.
You should continue to take ciprofloxacine for at least 5days.
Also take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain relief.
Also you should drink lots of fluids and water and go to urinate frequently.
Don't hold urine.
Also don't drink caffeine drinks.
I think you will feel better soon.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
