Get Nerve Like Electrical Impulse From Heart Or Lung Area. EKG Was Normal During An Eye Operation. Blood Pressure 120/70. Suggest?
Question: I get a nerve like electrical impulse from heart / lung area down left arm. Only happens occasionally and last a few seconds. Been happening for a couple of years and only every few months or so. Had EKG, for an eye operation, and all was normal. BP is 120's over 70's. HR is between 59-70 most of time. Not over weight, 67 yo male.

Get shocking sensation. Only 3-4 on scale of 10. Do not feel weak afterwards. Have not noticed any movement restrictions. Shock only lasts less then a minute but does travel down left arm.

Thanks for the information. Shocking type of sensation is usually seen in nerve compression. The parts affected in you indicate that the nerve compression could be in the neck. When the vertebral bone of the neck get fused, fractured, infected or damaged due to low calcium etc can lead to such nerve compression.
I suggest you to get a MRI scan of the neck done, this will help us to know the site of affection and help to plan on treatment while it is initial stage.
Meanwhile do wear a neck collar which will prevent further progression of the disease.
