Question: Curious how concerned u should be for death or cancer. Was found to have 3mm gall blader polyp on ultra sound. What should i do for follow up if any. Radiologist said none. GI said to have another ultrasound. I am very scared of cancer.

Brief Answer: Not likely to be cancer Detailed Answer: Hi Thanks for your query. It appears that you have got a 3mm tiny polyp in gall bladder. This is not significant at all. These findings are seen in many individuals if ultrasound is done in everybody. I don't see any reason for further workup. This is not known to turn into cancer or cause death. For reassurance you can go for another ultrasound in 3-6 months. Hope I have answered your query. I will be available to answer further followup queries, if any.

I have been having upper right abdominal pain for several mos now and Doc cant seem to find problem. I have had mri, ultra sound, slow stomach emptying test, endoscopy, and bloodwork. My gallbladder was removed in 2005 so that is not the issue. The pain seems to worsen about 20 mins after I eat or drink something. Mri showed simple cysts on my liver but doc says not cause of pain, endoscopy showed small hiatal hernia and inflamed stomach lining also says not the cause of the pain. I am pretty healthy 44 year old woman, I eat well and am not overweight. It feels like something is being pressed up against my rib cage causing the pain. but I supposed if there were some sort of mass the ultra sound and MRI would have picked that up... please help... --Mary

I was having a dull throbing pain in my lower left back for a few weeks it would sometimes make me feel nauseas.
Thin started to feel pain in my left side and lower left abdominal area as well as testicles. I thought it might be kidney stones so I went to the doctor and they checked for blood in my urine. There was no blood so I had an ultra sound of the spleen done and it came back slightly enlarged. I was then sent for a blood test and was told I have mono. I am 33 years old. I havent had any symptoms of feeling tired but still get sharp pains in my sides occasionally pain in my scrotum and abdomen. I have also been feeling bloated like my stomach is strechd out does this seem like mono. I will also feel a dull throbbing pain in my upper thighs occasionally.
