Question: Frenulum breve.... (at least thats what i think i have).. what can i do about it?

Frenulum breve is a condition in which an elastic band of tissue under the glans penis that connects to the prepuce (foreskin) and helps contract the prepuce over the glans, is short and restricts the movement of the prepuce.

There are many means of treatment but the most effective is by surgery. Stretching exercises and steroid creams may also be helpful but they should always be used under medical guidance.

Alternatively, it may be treated by a reparative plastic surgery operation called a frenuloplasty or by complete circumcision including resection of the frenulum (frenectomy). But the choice of treatment depends on the severity of the condition.

You should get it examined from a plastic surgeon who will assess the severity and then decide which treatment is best for you: frenuloplasty or frenectomy.
