After my meals, it feels as though all my food is blocked in stomache, like i do not digest it at all and it keeps me awake all night and I end up with heart palpations.

As per your query, you are having Atrial fibrillation.
As you are 76 years old,the function and activity of the gastro intestinal tract will be slow.
The movement of the gut will also be slow.
So,it may take sometime for the food to go from stomach to the small intestine.
Please sit in upright position after your meals.
You can walk for 10 minutes.
Please eat early so that you have some time to do above things before sleep.
Please have frequent small feeds.Eat foods which are easily digestable.
Drink plenty of liquids.
Apart from the drugs that you are taking now, please add Itopride tablet. It is a prokinetic drug which increases the motility of the gut.
Please do not worry.
Palpitations are due to Atrial fibrillation. But,they can be caused due to anxiety also.
Please practise yoga for better activity of gastro intestinal tract.
Wish you good health.
If you have any queries, i will clarify further.
