Hello,

Considering your age and medical conditions(Hypertension and Diabetes) there may be many causes for this problem.

The commonest ones are

1. Cataract of the eye. In the presence of diabetes it matures faster.
If present it has to be operated upon.

2. Vitreous Humour opacities due retinal bleed.

3. Retinopathy(Diabetic and Hypertensive) and macular edema.
You need to regularly screen for retinopathy.
If present it needs to be treated with Laser.

Consult your Ophthalmologist for evaluation of the eye and vision.

Hope the answer helps you.
