Experiencing Severe Sharp Pain On Side Of Head And Neck. What Is Causing This?
Question: For last 2 evenings, I have experienced severe sharp pain on right side of head and neck. Do you know what this could be??

The common causes for your symptoms could be:
1. Cervical disc disease- with neck pain and occasional headaches. Pain may be more on neck movements.
2. Muscle tension headache- In this condition, pain may occur in head and neck.
In both these conditions, other symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, etc are lacking.
You can get relief with ibuprofen tablets.
