Hello,

Thanks for your response in follow up section.

Your weight is now 282 pounds. Obesity itself causes ache in different parts of body system, specially weight bearing joints (shoulder/hip/knee) including upper & lower limbs and vertebral spine. Though, it is quite good for you to reduce weight naturally and weight reduction is the key treatment to alleviate all presenting symptoms and to live a healthy lifestyle. Other two possible conditions are fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome for persistent body ache.

Some aggravating factors are
1) muscle spasm (like calf muscle in lower limb etc) due to continuous heavy exercise with low oxygen & dehydration.
2) electrolyte imbalance (sodium/ potassium etc).
3) fluctuation of blood hormone level in peri menopausal age (40 yrs old).
4) thyroid disturbance (hypothyroid state).
5) presence of fibroid (cause lower abdominal pain).
6) diabetes, hypertension etc.

According to your information, your blood test reports are quite good and it is a positive thing to avoid unhealthy circumstances.

In this stage, some other measures are needed to be taken to get some relief from body ache like:

1) Avoid heavy exercise for 1-2 weeks and you can do some light one.
2) Avoid mental stress/ depression/ upset by yoga/ XXXXXXX breathing exercise.
3) Take adequate bed rest with complete relaxation of the body.
4) Drink more water (3 lit plus) with low salt & lemon or may take electral powder to avoid dehydration & muscle spasm.
5) Eat more XXXXXXX vegetables and fresh fruits or juice. Always take balanced diet with complete avoidance of extra sugar & fatty/ spicy/ junk food stuff.
6) Take some medication like ibuprofen/ NSAIDS (non steroid anti inflammatory drugs)/ anti-anxiety drugs. You need to take omeprazole group of drug along with to decrease gastric irritation. Muscle relaxant gel is also helpful to get relief from specific muscle pain.
7) You may need to take hormonal medication to correct hormonal imbalance. Though, doctor's consultation is needed to get prescription.
8) Take bathing with cold water only twice daily to get some relief.
9) Acupuncture, light body massage, some relaxation technique are also helpful.
10) Lastly, you must consult with your doctor/ physiotherapist for complete health check up and other suggestive measures.

Hope, above measures will help you to lighten up your problem. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.

Wish your good health & take care of yourself.

Regards,
Dr Soumen.
