Posted on Mon, 5 Dec 2022
Question: End of May 2017 I was working at a nursing home in Las Cruces. (I have not been able to work the Roswell nursing homes because I was blacklisted for testifying against them in 1997.) We had to rent a place to live in Las Cruces to work the job. I was moved to a different hall and different pt. while still on orientation, I was under a lot of stress. My boss knew it been seven years since I worked as a nurse and had promise to be kind but it wasn’t happening. One night I went to the BR I had a H/A and felt stressed out. I happened to look in the mirror and the capillaries were bursting in my right eye. A few nights later I now had a new admit and other issues going on and I really felt overwhelmed. I had a H/A again. I went to the BR. and the capillaries in my left eye where breaking again. I had a tech take my BP and it was in the 170’s. I didn’t feel well and decided I had enough of this job. I didn’t need a stroke. The nurse orientating me took over and I left.
