Brief Answer:
There is solution for your problem

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for using healthcare magic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.
From the available description it appears to me that following varicocele and erection problem you are heading toward depression. Presence of hopelessness and having ideas of self harm are the symptoms which need immediate intervention with personal visit to a psychiatrist.

I like to assure you that considering available history it is evident that your erection problem is secondary to varicocele which is quite common if varicocele is not treated.

I request you to do following things.
1. Fix an appointment with your surgeon for fixing varicocele.
2.See a psychiatrist in your city for further evaluation of depression and get treatment started
3. Post me about any development that takes place
4. Talk to family members about the situation and ask for help
5. Spend enough time with family and friends and never to stay alone
6. Do it as soon as possible.

Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
If not, you may close the discussion and if possible you may rate the answer for me, so that I get a good feedback.

Thank u doctor sahab for your reply.
I need to share some more details. I am 30 years of age. I had a pain once due to stone in my bladder around 9-10 months back. After that there have been urge for frequent urination.
Does that affect ED too? Is varicocele treatable? Which specialist does that ? Can u provide phone no of few doctors? After surgery will there be no ED? I can come down to XXXXXXX to see u. Kindly provide details.
thanks and regards XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
yes that affect

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for reverting back to me.

The frequent urination following pain indicates two possible things. Firstly you developed some urinary tract infection that leads to increased frequency of urine and secondly that stone was causing irritation over the bladder which results in increased frequency. AS you may have experienced both these conditions are short lasting and go with treatment.

As I said earlier varicocrele affects the local temperature in your scrotum where the production of sperms takes place. Due to increased temperature it will affect the hormone and sperm production adversely and that could contribute to the erection problem. I want to to make it clear that both condition somewhat related and it is possible that your problem will be rectified following surgery.

Yes varicocele is treatable but there is no role of medication. Only possible treatment for it is surgery which are performed by surgeon. This can be done by either general surgeon or urosurgeon.
It is not possible for me to provide any contact details as healthcaremagic do not permit to do so.

There is no role of me in treatment of varicocele as I am not a surgeon. In case you find any difficulty in the erection feel free to contact me. First need to treat the root cause rather the effect of cause.
Thanks and regards
Dr Ashok Kumar

Thank you Sir for your valuable inputs.

The pain caused by the stone was a one time affair. The doctor then gave me some medications for killing pain and it worked fine. The problem of frequent urination is an aftereffect but there is no pain in that. For this I never had any medicine.

After the problem of varicocele was detected, an urologist told me that there is no need to worry as it is common among many people and it will not affect in any way. He also told me that it had just begin then. Now after 2 years, the inconvenience I used to have earlier has actually stopped but I am not sure whether it has vanished or not.but the New problem of ED has emerged.

Now Sir the doubt is that how to be sure whether this ED is due to varicocele or urinary tract infection, low testosterone or any other cause. I want to undergo complete test.
Sir I have gone crazy with this problem. Day in and day out I think about this problem. Kindly provide your phone no And email id so that I can reach out to you for any help.
Sir I have heard that doctor's place is next to GOD. Please help me.
thanks and regards XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
this is treatable

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

First thing about your stone, frequent urination is possible when the irritation is present in absence of infection. Since it was one time affair there is no need to worry but at same time you need to take plenty of fluids so keep your urinary tract free from formation of sludge and minimizing risk of stone formation.

Regarding your varicocele take another opinion from your urologist. After getting the fresh details I feel there must be another cause for ED problem. But before we move further it is advisable to get treated the correctable cause. Your urologist was right in staying that it is common and when it is of small size may not be a cause of concern.

I request you to post following details so we can start working over cause of ED other than varicocele.
1. Your duration of problem
2. How the problem started
3. Frequency of the problem in a week or in a month
4. What are the factors that increase the problem in bedroom
5. Factors that relieve the problem- thoughts, situations, partner, place etc
6. Do you get early morning erection
7. If yes how frequent
8. Your marital status and partner details
9. Effect on your marriage or relationship so far
10. Details of medical illness
11. Medications you are receiving currently

Once you post these details I will try to analyze the cause of it and will suggest you accordingly.
Thanks and regards

Doctor sahab,
The details pointwise is as follows:
1) it's been around 1 year since the problem started.
2) it began slowly I guess. During masturbation itself, the erections began to soften. Then there was problem of early ejaculation too. I thought it's will be Ok when I have actual sex but it didn't. In fact during masturbation as hands were used, so it was easy to get erection.
3) now I get erections but it's not hard enough. Infact sometimes erection is difficult to achieve.
4) Sir as such other factors doesn' t have much role in the bedroom. I m neutral to them except probably when it's too hot. Actually 2 years back I had good physique but now I have become overweight and my wife is thin so I feel awkward also to get naked.when I m tired, then also I don't easily get erection.
5) as Of now nothing helps to relieve the situation except viagra.
6) I do get morning erections but they r not that much hard which I used to have. But I think morning erections are because of accumulation of urine probably.
7) I dont know about the frequency.
8) I m married and she is 28 years of age with normal sexual behavior.
9) as I take viagra, so things are under control. She is quite understanding so she doesn't insist when I refuse for sex. She is totally committed and we are emotionally well connected and I think she will be cooperative too.
10) there is no history of medical illness.
11) I don't take any medicine.

Doctor Sahab! I used to masturbate daily since 16 years to 20 years. Then from 21 years to 24 years I used to masturbate thrice a week, then for two years I abstained from masturbation completely. From 27-29, I used to masturbate twice a week. From last one year I masturbate very rarely. Porn videos and literature do excite me but not that much which they used to. Earlier I used to get very excited on seeing naked women and used to get very hard erections but not now. Earlier sex was always on my mind but not now. I used to smoke and drink from 20-25 years. But had quit for some time. Now from last years I rarely drink or smoke. I have tried ayurvedic medicines for 15 days but there was not much effect. I had even tried kegel for 2-3 months but there was no improvement. Probably I might have been doing it wrong. I tried to eat so called sex enhancing food like banana, almonds, garlic, clove etc but no benefits
Whenever I have suhagra( variant of viagra), I get good erections for a week or so though ideally it is effective for 1 day.
I have hopes only from allopathic medicines and therapy.
thanks and regards

Brief Answer:
Get some blood reports

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for detailed history.

With fresh input I can say two things.
The major reason for your sexual problem is your low confidence or psychological one.

And probably obesity is contributing to some extent in this problem.

At this level I like to assure you that it can be treated and there is not much to worry.

You are requested to get following reports from your nearby standard laboratory.
1. Serum testosterone,
2. Serum LH, FSH, Prolactin
3. Serum TSH, T3, T4
4. Lipid profile
5. Complete blood count
6. Penile doppler study
7. Semen analysis

I hope with these reports we will be able to zero down the problem. At this stage I request you to take excessive effort to cut down weight as this is one of the important factor in causing metabolic disturbance responsible for ED.
