Brief Answer:
No. UTIs don't resolve on its own.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Good day!

I wouldn't risk getting treated for UTI by myself because there are different complications of untreated UTI. I'd suggest getting a urinalysis first and consulting your GP.

Inadequately treated/untreated cases can cause further complications including sepsis (severe infection in the blood), prostatitis, prostatic abscess, orchitis (infection of the testis), pyelonephritis (kidney infection) most notably. Please don't worry as with timely intervention, recovery is quite fast.

In the meantime, drink plenty of water and if you develop fever or difficulty in urination you should proceed to the emergency room immediately.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care.
