Brief Answer:
It can be due to hormonal imbalance.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Thanks for believing me again about your health concern.

Sorry for the delay in my response.

Her period may be delayed due to the hormonal imbalance cause by I-pill or thyroid disorder.

I know you are thinking that I-pill side effects should be resolved in 2-3 cycles, but sometimes effect can last longer also.

So first she should go for ultrasound pelvis and thyroid profile to find out the cause.

As with your information, I understand that there is no sexual contact after October, so there are no chances of pregnancy.

There are other reasons which can cause delayed period like stress, exercise and infection.

Hope it is useful, feel free to ask more questions.

Good luck.

thank you, you are right, there was NO sexual contact after october of that sort, i mean there was no intercourse. She stopped her thyroid pills one month back thinking she was fit to get rid of those. I'll certainly see to her taking the medical tests. Should you advice any exercise?
