Brief Answer:
Cannot induce a period if pregnant.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Ms. XXXXXXX

Thanks for writing to us.

If you suspect pregnancy, firstly, do a home pregnancy test if you are late at least by three days. You can also get an assay of the serum beta-hCG titres for better confirmation.

If pregnancy is confirmed and if you do not wish to retain it, please take the help of a specialist to induce a medical abortion. You need a trans-vaginal sonogram to know the age of pregnancy and the location of the sac, blood counts and urinalysis apart from a clinical examination.

The dosage of Primolut is not sufficient to induce a period and if you are pregnant, any dose cannot induce a period.

Hope I have clarified your query. Please feel free to contact for any more information. I will be happy to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.
