Question: Is it possible for extreme emotional stress to cause irregular periods that are too frequent and very heavy?


Paps are normal
Hormone levels normal except slight elevation in dhea sulfate but Dr says minor elevation indicative of stress
Trans vag ultrasound normal

Yes definitely stress has a lot of negative impact on periods and hormone levels specially cycle regularity.
Rather stress is the most common cause of physiological delay or periods.
