Brief Answer:
It will increase LDL and cause Dyslipidemia.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic for your query.

Shisha often contains the same type of tobacco as you get in cigarettes. This means shisha smokers are at risk of developing the same health problems as cigarette smokers, such as heart disease dyslipidemia.

"A World Health Organisation study has suggested that a one hour session of smoking shisha can be the same as smoking 100 or more cigarettes."

The most well-documented impact that smoking shisha has on cholesterol is how it lowers levels of high-density lipoprotein (HDL). HDL has protective effects against heart disease. It creates an environment in the bloodstream that leads to a destructive breakdown of cholesterol making LDL even more toxic to blood vessels, increasing deposits of plaque in the arteries, and increasing inflammation,”This chronic inflammation of the blood vessels and buildup of fatty plaques is called atherosclerosis. Plaque restricts blood flow throughout the body; after years of growth, plaques can burst and create a blood clot, which reduces or blocks blood flow to the heart, causing a heart attack. Blood clots can also travel throughout the body, causing a stroke if blood flow to the brain is blocked(stroke).
So answer to your query is yes shisha will increase the level of LDL and cholestrol while decreasing the levels of HDL(good cholestrol). The effects are equivalent to smoking.
Regards.
