Brief Answer:
not directly

Detailed Answer:
but indirectly it can by a variety of ways. Changes in breathing rate causes a change in the acidity of the blood and this changes the tone of muscles and causes cramps. Furthermore, there can be a (mild) diuretic effect of cigarettes and this can also change the ionic condition of muscles (slightly).

Smoking also changes circulation. This (rarelY) is associated with cramps. This has been associated either with circulation problems (that were already there before the cigarettes)

or from huge enormous amounts of tobacco (nicotine poisoning can cause muscle cramps directly, but it has to be a true overdose).

I TAKE ANTIPHYCOTIC DRUGS SUCH AS KLONOPIN AND RESPERDONE FOR BIPOLOR. CAN THESE CAUSE XXXXXXX HORSES AND HOW DOES THE DRUGS CAUSE THE MUSCLE SPASMS.

Answered by Dr. Dr. Matt Wachsman (8 hours later)
Brief Answer:
rather a bit more commonly associated with it

Detailed Answer:
the antipsychotics like resperidone, block dopamine. Dopamine is involved with the regulation of muscle tone. If the parts of the brain that respond to it burn out, then people get parkinson's which is associated with uncontrolled muscle movements like spasms. If someone takes too much of an antipsychotic they get muscle spasms. This is treatable with benadryl and can be prevented by it too. The prescribed version of it is called cogentin. Klonapin is not involved with muscle spasms.
