If the parts of the brain that respond to it burn out, then people get parkinson's which is associated with uncontrolled muscle movements like spasms. If someone takes too much of an antipsychotic they get muscle spasms. This is treatable with benadryl and can be prevented by it too. The prescribed version of it is called cogentin. Klonapin is not involved with muscle spasms.
