In Humans, our day night cycle is "presumptive". in other words, changes in the time of day can change the metabolic processes in our body. This way the internal body organs can be ready for what the body will most likely be doing at that time.

If you deny yourself this breakfast, your body which has been primed for breaking down food and building up energy stores gets confused and goes into a shock
In a shock state, it will kill the appetite and slow down the metabolism, making you sleepy and very irritable.
So yes, skipping breakfast can worsen acidity and make you interfere with metabolism which will in turn cause fatigue
and eventually even weight gain.
