Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

You are on very low doses of antidepressants. To treat mood swings and depression, typical doses of venlafaxine of 150mg to 225mg are required. I would talk to your doctor about increasing the dose. Additionally, you may need to seek help to get protection from your husband. Psychotherapy might help you process his abuse and help you feel better, even more so than medication.

Hello Dr Sheppe, and thank you for your reply.

I will ask my family physician to increase dosage. I'm in XXXXXXX and would be happy to make an appointment with you as i don't care for the website much (sorry)

I have been having depression and chemical imbalance all my life and i need to figure out how to beat this, not just medicate myself.

if you think it would be worth while to meet, kindly send me the phone nr where i can make an appointment.

Best, xxxxxxxx

Unfortunately I do not have availability for in-person appointments, though I am flattered by your interest. I am sure your family physician is capable of providing top-notch care. I would encourage an increase in the venlafaxine until you see positive results. If you have further questions you can always reach out to me on this website.
