Does Regular Exercises Result In Increased Testosterone Levels?
Question: Getting back into shape. Been walking about 3 miles every day and getting into my infrared sauna for 30 minutes a day at a minimum 120 degrees (produces a great river sweat), and going on my chi machine (foot shaking massage machine), 20 pushups, 20 sit ups, and 20 knee bends every day. Been doing this religiously every day since August 24, 2016, and such that it's become a lifestyle change. Feel good. I used to also lift weights in my 30s religiously, so aim to go back to this. But of course I'm not going to lift heavy weights any more as I did. So it won't be an overwhelming workout of course, but eventually hope to do consistently (right now once a week, hope to expand to 3X/week) a regimen of: 3X10 reps of 135 lbs bench presses; 2X15 reps of standing dumbbell lateralls using 25 lb dumb bells in each hand (i.e. lifting arms to just above shoulder height with weights and back done for 1 rep); 30 reps of 55 lbs arm curls; 30 reps of dumbbell flys (lying on bench) using 25 lbs weights in either hand; 30 reps of one arm rows (switching for right hand and left hands) using 25 lbs weight. Also eating fruit in morning, veggies for lunch, but... still pigging out at dinner (hope to correct that). Doing all this to lower my blood pressure but also to hopefully correct what I think is ED. Anyway, that's the background. My question = if I go back to doing weights (as I describe, trying for 3 times a week), do you think that will help with more testosterone and improve the ED in the long run?
