default
Posted on Mon, 27 Nov 2017
Question: i am a 41 yr old female. I had my tubes burned 15 years ago. I also had a ectopic pregnancy 16 years ago. I had vaginal ablastion 5 years ago for irregular periods and have not a period since. Yesterday I had some spotting pinkish in color. It was only when I wiped. Today still the same thing but its more brownish. Its not thick and does not have a smell. I also have some cramping. More like menstral cramps. I had sex with my husband sunday. My husband is worried there is a chance I am pregnant.

Brief Answer:
As below

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.

I don't think a pregnancy is likely.

It could just be age related spotting as the effects of the ablation wear off.

Please get a Pap smear done and a pelvic ultrasound scan to know what is the cause.

All the best
