Question: Hi, I just moved to Arkansas from California back in January. I had been seeing a Pain Management doctor prior to my move here for chronic neck, back, pelvic, and
fibromyalgia. In August my mom passed away, and I was seeing pain management in California. I had a
ct scan done, and am getting another one because I took a bad fall and and tore two ligaments in my hand, and having
severe pain in my neck and lumbar. The CT showed
severe arthritis, bulging and herniated discs, and am not functioning due to the pain. I am set up for
physical therapy. My question is that my California Pain Management doctor told me I could no longer see him because there was no Percocet in my system, and they found
tramadol, and XXXXXXX in my system which were meds I found in my drawer. My doctor saw me and saw the previous CT scan and said my neck is in real bad shape, and now is affecting my arm and shoulder. I also have to have surgery on my hand to repair the ligaments. Does Pain Management vary from state to state? My doctor gave me
Norco, and wants me to see a pain specialist. Will they prescribe me medication if I have been dropped in California, if my symptoms have gotten a lot worse?
