I have had ligament pain in other joints. How should I treat this? pain comes and goes and is on a scale f one to ten, only a two.
I do have a prescription for meloxicam. Would that be better than ibuprophen?

Brief Answer:
favors ligament sprain or strain.suggestions provided for better recovery.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the details .

* Suggestions for your condition

- Application of heat pad for 5 minutes each session 3 - 4 times a day .
- Meloxicam is equally efficient in mild to moderate pain & inflammation as
Ibuprofen , better in that manner you have to take once daily dose not
repeatedly like ibuprofen .
- Local analgesic spray or ointment are other options .
- Remain ambulatory with walking, light exercises .
- Avoid excess straining work till full recovery of groin pain .

Hope this will help you .
