Does Low Fluid In Spine Cause Difficulty In Walking?

default
Posted on Tue, 29 Apr 2014
Question: I just saw my neurologist today for CSF leak headache, and she asked me to tandem walk and I was unable to do it without falling. Would that be a result of the low fluid in my spine, or would it have more to do with my CRPS/RSDS?

Brief Answer: My reply is below. Detailed Answer: Hi, Thank you for posting your query. I have noted your medical details and the fact that you could not tandem walk without falling. Inability to do tandem walking indicates a problem with the cerebellum (lower back part of brain). So, most likely it could be related to CSF leak. I hope my reply has helped you. I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.
