Brief Answer:
No it doesn't in normal conditions

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.

Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I have read your query in detail. I understand your concern.

Osteo Panadol contains high dose of sustained release Paracetamol.
Paracetamol can cause sweating but only if a person has fever, else it would just act as analgesic.

Give me following details for a better help:
1.Does she takes any other medication?
2.How much dose is she taking?
3.Since when she started experiencing night sweats?
4.Any fever associated?
5.Any weight loss?

This is my best advice for you based on available details. If you have any further query please ask me and revert with the asked details for a better help.
Stay Healthy.

Detail Follows.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
It is also possible that she gets night sweats as a result of abscess she had.
Get it checked whether it has resolved completely or not.

If you have noticed improvement in sweating problem following stopping of Osteo Panadol, just do a simple test, give it to her again tonight and see if she develops sweats again.
If she develops the sweats again, i would recommend the following:
1. To take Osteo Panadol in half of the dose she is taking.
2. To use Tramadol instead of Osteo Panadol for knee pain. Tramadol is comparatively a safer pain killer.
3. To apply a pain killer gel like Volini locally.

Write to me again, if she gets no sweating on re starting Osteo Panadol.

If you have any further query, please ask me.
Stay Healthy.
