Question: I am undergoing prolonged treatment for mild psoriasis. In between, I had the problem of candidal balanoposthitis. I was prescribed syscan 150mg and DK gel for local application. Now after about 18 months time I have the same problem again causing painful blisters, especially after sex. I am 61 and have borderline sugar, which I keep under check, I use a glucometer at home. Now the question is whether I could use the same medication as prescribed earlier without visiting my dermatologist. Thanks
