Brief Answer:
You can enjoy a variety of foods as following...

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

1. You are reporting to be diagnosed with stomach inflammation (otherwise called gastritis). Nexium is an excellent med to dominate the symptoms.

2. Diet and lifestyle changes are also important to ease the symptoms of gastritis.
With regards to foods restrictions, it is true that they will cause weight loss, but at the same time, that will be easing your actual symptoms.

Now, with regards to foods, the general recommendations are to avoid those foods/drink that will cause irritation of the stomach and reduce stomach pH as following:
- avoid spicy/chilly/acidic/fried foods/drinks
- have more tea (ginger, green/white tea)
- consume more green leafy veggies, apples, fresh fruits
- yogurt, carrot juice, coconut water, cranberry juice can also help
- peppermint, celery, parsley, XXXXXXX broccoli, etc
- onions and garlic are found to be helpful; however, you should evaluate their effect by your own.
- legumes are also recommended to eat together with soy foods and wheat ban

As you may see, there are a variety of foods to consume while others to avoid. You will maintain a healthy weight and ease your symptoms at the same time.

All the best!
