Question: My white blood cell count is to high 13.7 & does not want to come down. I'm on 500 mg Flagyl because I got C/Diff. in the Hospital. Should I be worried about this?

Brief Answer:
no need to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

Flagyl is a good drug for c diff. It should eventually work. If you are doing well otherwise, there is no diarrhea or fever, then no need to worry.

Leukocyte count of 13000 with the patient doing well doesn't mean anything serious.

Hope this helps.
Regards
