Brief Answer:
There uis no reason to get bothered about this!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this test result and all the inconveniences this has caused you. Please, this test stays positive several years after exposure and may never get negative. It in no way signifies an active infection. What signifies an active infection is the IgM component and not the IgG. Most persons in the society would test positive for this. It is not a STD and should not be a ,marker of reckless behavior that should call for judgmental attitude from a potential Mr. Right. Almost all persons who develop sore on the lips when they develop fever have at one point had this HSV1 and would probably test positive for this. This tells you how common this is.

I hope this clarifies your worries. I wish you well and thank you s much for using our services. If you have any more concerns, please feel free to request for more information and clarifications if need be.
