Dear XXXXXXX

Thanks for writing to us. I can understand your concern.

Masturbation is natural and normal thing. It is done by 95% of the males in the world, mostly before marriage as well as when wife is away, in menses or pregnant after marriage. It is not at all harmful. Frequency of masturbation done by an individual varies from once a day to once a week. It depends upon individual libido, wish and timing. It neither causes any weakness nor any problem in sexual activity. No need to worry about your habit of masturbation.

As such there is no limit of frequency of harmful masturbation. Sometime one can enjoy four times a day and sometime once in 4 weeks. It is an individual matter. The time spent in masturbation must not be so long that it affects life. However if someone has to masturbate compulsorily at cost of routine work or masturbation is creating problem in occupation and/or social life then only it is something abnormal and require treatment. Otherwise masturbation should be done as and when person feels to do it.

Average time before ejaculation varies. In masturbation it can be controlled easily and ranges from 1-2 minutes to 15-20 minutes while during sex after entering in to vagina it varies from 1 to 10 minutes. Time also depends on frequency of masturbation/sex. When frequency is more time will more as there will be less semen collection is seminal vesicles.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.
