Brief Answer:
You need to keep taking the medicine and need not to worry about

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible.

First of all, it is sad to know what you had gone through. It's good that treatment is in the right verge and hopefully the issue will resolve by some time. Relating to your concerns, even if you had missed few doses only resort is to resume treatment and complete it.

It's also encouraging that your calculations turn put to be right so you don't need to worry about that and keep focusing on treatment as their are other aspects of this therapy you need to look into more critically than this one.

One is that potential side effects of this treatment needs weekly liver and renal functions and after a month, monthly review of these parameters as well as carefully monitoring any changes in vision or numbness in hands or feet. Also keep taking supplements for vitamin B6 and B12 alongwith it.

Regarding other doubts and queries regarding dampness or exposure of tablets to moisture or remaining opened might decrease their efficacy if left such for days still skipping the dose isn't a good option so in the case such tablets can be used instead of missing the dose completely.

Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.

Brief Answer:
It's better to have close follow up and liver functions repeated

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Thanks for sharing the feedback. It's better to get a repeat liver and kidney functions as well as close liason with your doctor should be kept as treatment needs slight tweaks and changes after two month and a detailed examination on follow up is better to look for any signs or complications to pick them early. I have gone though your attached reports and it's good that you were put on the treatment in time. Though the response is good, you still need to complete the treatment as per doctors advise. Regards.

Brief Answer:
Hopefully it will be effective

Detailed Answer:
Hi!
Thanks for sharing further concerns.

You need not to worry as you are well on course to the recovery and treatment seems to be working. with small cuts or such defects in strip may not tend to lose its efficacy but even if it happened now it's solution is to continue the treatment and it may not have affected the efficacy of the therapy overall as therapeutic levels of drug in the blood remain and effects are being achieved.

sir now as per my doctor prescription I have to take Akurit 3 ,4 tablets early morning empty stomach is it right .
another query as per four tablets I am taking two tablets at a time and in another Sweep next two tablets is it OK, or it is the wrong way which will effect my treatment
doctor
Answered by Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin (16 hours later)
Brief Answer:
It's better to take all 4 tablets simultaneously

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Thanks for the feedback. It's better to use these simultaneously early morning empty stomach but if gastric side effects like vomiting or nausea are so intense that it leads to oral intolerance to foods and medications, it can. be taken the way you are using it. In cases of gastric side effects using motility agents like domperidone or anti emetics like dimenhydrinate can be considered. As far as efficacy is concerned, in order to develop adequate drug levels to penetrate into the TB granuloma it's at once intake is superior than taking separately however if you have taken it the other way around, stay relaxed as your TB is very much responsive to the treatment as are evident by improving trends that you have mentioned. Also the tolerance profile seems very good. You can start using all at once from today onwards. Regards.

sir how can we check authentication of medicine from chemist shop
doctor
Answered by Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin (26 hours later)
Brief Answer:
You can check it by batch number

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Thanks for sharing your concerns. You can confirm it by checking the batch number or lot number aloted to medicine, it's expiry date being writing on the strip and does it Match with the box of that lot as well as confirming it from the invoice that whether this batch lot was purchased at the date mentioned and from authentic distributor or from random store. Some international companies offer confirming the medicine online by reconfirming the lot number with companies data that whether it was produced by the same company or not. Regards.

Sir if at all there is a miss of daily dose for a week will there be any adverse effects
doctor
Answered by Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin (3 hours later)
Brief Answer:
It can lead to antibiotics resistance

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Thanks for staying in the loop.

Yes, it has side effects not directly relating to drug toxicity or any such implications but it can lead to drop in therapeutic levels and treatment failure if continued like that. It can also lead to development of super bugs which are resistant to antibiotics so it's never recommended to leave the dose in between.

However best approach still would be to restart the dose as soon as the person realizes or gets the medicines in hand and resume the therapy without any further delay.

Regards.
