Does delayed ovulation indicate PCOS or pregnancy?

Question: does metformin and pcos affect home pregnancy tests? I'm sure I'm pregnant (4wks 4days) but I'm not getting a positive test! what causes some women to get their first positive test at 6,8 or 10 wks pregnant? when pregnant with my son 2 yrs ago, I was 6 wks pregnant before I got a positive test!

PCOS is associated with delayed ovulation. Hence pregnancy occurs little later than normal ovulation in some women.

I suggest you repeat pregnancy test after a week.
