Does copper T cause infection? Any other birth control?

Is Copper T making infection? Will it make problem for next pregnancy? Is any other way to Brith Control other than Copper T?

When you are referring to "Copper T" you are referring to the copper IUD or 'intra-uterine device". The Copper IUD is a safe, common form of NON-hormonal birth control. It is very effective (not quite 100%) for of birth control. It can stay in for 8 years.

The other forms of birth control include:

1. The Mirena IUD (another IUD with hormones that act within the uterus)
2. Birth control pills
3. Depo-provera = birth control shot every 12 weeks
4. Nuvaring = a birth control ring put in the vagina for 3 weeks at a time
