Yogurt is easily digestible and contains plenty of beneficial bacteria and hence is very good for health. However, some individuals might have milk protein allergy or milk intolerance and may not tolerate yogurt well. Occasionally, some individuals develop hyperacidity on taking yogurt. However, most often yogurt is tolerated well and no significant downside of yogurt is observed.
