Question: Hi... my six year old son (26 kg) has accidentally took 200 mcg of Eltroxin. Should I worry?

I have gone through the query and do understand your concern.
I won't get worried as the toxic dose of Thyroxin(Eltroxin) is very high. It has been seen that single dose below 500 microgram does not causes any problem. Dose above 3000 mcg invariably presents with abnormal symptoms. Symptoms usually appear within 6-8 hours of ingestion.

Still as body metabolism of each individual is different,I would suggest you to observe for symptoms like fever, nervousness, trembling of hands, increased heart beat, flushing or insomnia. In case you find any symptom please contact your pediatrician.
