Brief Answer:
Negative Dna PCR test rules out HIV infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Mr XXXXXXX

When an individual contracts HIV infection, the body mounts immune reaction against HIV antigen. There is formation of antibodies against the antigen. These antibodies are only detectable after 12 weeks or 90 days . This is known as serological window period.
HIV Dna PCR detects the virus antigen and does not rely on detection of antibodies. This is considered as diagnostic test with high specificity and sensitivity approaching nearly 100 % . This test is positive as early as 7 days after infection. Negative Dna PCR test certainly rules out HIV infection.

There is absolutely no cause for concern. Rest be assured.

But i am experincing the symptoms like Mouth ulscar, sore throat and felling so sick after 50-60 days of that high risk activity .

so as i feel that symptoms may reflect HIV . so i am so scared about it.

Will there be any chance of other STDs with the same symptoms.
Will there be any chance of HIV result Positive in antibody test after 3+ months . even i got negative in DNA PCR after 40 days.
