Does a large ulcer in the mouth a cause for concern and how can it be treated?
Traumatic ulcer or aphthous ulcer, medication
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query and the images.
As per the images and the ulcer is concerned, I have the following possibilities:
1. It can be a traumatic ulcer secondary to any injury while brushing or eating.
2. The possibilities can be an aphthous ulcer secondary to stress.
Nothing to worry, the ulcer will heal in a span of 5 to 7 days.
If I am your treating doctor, I would have suggested you to take topical steroids like Triamcinolone acetonide and topical analgesics like Choline salicylate.
Do saline gargling.
I hope I have answered your query.
