Does Zocef CV Interact With Augmentin?

Question: I have been prescribed Zocef CV twice a day for 10 days for recurring folliculitis. Is it safe to take this drug? I have been on augmentin 625 two weeks ago but the folliculitis is coming back.

Any thing that i have to worry about taking zocef cv?

You can take the medicine safely.
Gastric irritation is the common side effect with all antibiotics have any antacids along with it.

If you are getting back the folliculitis again, i suggest you to get the culture and sensitivity done. You can then be treated with exact sensitive antibiotic.

Do apply the T bact ointment locally on the infected area.
