Does Xanax ,Zoloft Or Vicodin Cause Dizziness?
Question: My 26 yr old daughter was killed in a motorcycle accident 2 weeks ago. She left behind a 10 yr old son I now have custody of. I felt physically ok until a few days ago. I tapered off Zoloft over the past 5 weeks and have 1 more dose to complete. I also tapered down my Xanax from 2 mg to 1 mg 3 times a day. I do have a standing order for vicodin. 7.5 tid prn. The last few days I've been unsteady,dizzy feeling dis connected. I also take 25 mg of mteoprolol for a rapid heart rate that began with the antidepressant experiments. I tried lexapro,cymbalta but Zoloft had the least side effects. I'm wondering if my symptoms are drug related or tragedy effects since now that all the arrangements have been made I find myself clenching my jaw and even holding my breath lost in thought

I am so sorry for your loss. I went through your query and I believe trauma itself is a trigger for many symptoms of yours including dizziness. Doses rescheduling has also played it's rile but it's good thing you narrowed the dosages. You are still on many. Slow taper them further. Stay in touch with. Psychiatrist for that.
Now the symptoms will resolve. Take some symptomatic treatment lime antivert for dizziness and rest for ares while. Proper routine and active lifestyle like exercise and daily chores will help you stay out of the trouble. Get some psychotherapy and behavioural therapy. It will help the grief.
Rest assured , you will be good to go. Take care of the kid and yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please.
